What we see on iPhones, and how to tell them apart

How long an iPhone repair takes
iPhone is one of the two brands we stock most heavily, so most iPhone work is same day.
Water damage is the exception on any phone. It is assessed rather than timed, because what has to be done depends on what the liquid reached.
The rule is the same across everything we repair: common devices and common parts are same-day, usually 30 to 45 minutes while you wait. Rarer devices and less common parts are ordered, which means 24 hours or more.

What makes the price go up or down
We do not publish a fixed price for this repair, because the price depends on what we find once the device is open.
You get a written quote after the free diagnostic, and nothing is started until you approve it. If something beyond the original fault turns up during the repair, we stop, tell you what we have found, and quote again before we go any further.

Will I lose my photos?
No. Standard repairs do not touch your storage, and we do not go through your device. Back up anything irreplaceable before any repair anywhere, as a habit.
Do you fix iPhones that have been repaired somewhere else?
Yes. Bring it in and the diagnostic is free. We will tell you what we find, including if a previous repair is part of the problem.
My iPhone got wet. What should I do right now?
Power it off and leave it off, and do not put it on charge. Then bring it in as soon as you can - corrosion keeps working while the phone sits.
Do I need an appointment?
